Wednesday 11th April 2012
10 Sand Martins flew over Witch Lane and a Willow Warbler was singing by Shenstone House Farm. A Swallow was present over the ploughed field at Back Lane (Jared Tibbets)
Thursday 12th April 2012
The ♂ Common Redstart was again present at Stanklyn Lane paddocks.
Sad News
The pair of Great Crested Grebe on Captains Pool have abandoned their nest this week (Tony Smith). As it is still early in the year they will hopefully attempt to nest again.
Thats a cracking Redstart Jase, congrats on that! All Male Redstarts are cracking birds though eh!
